Award-winning singer Justin Bieber
was a surprise guest during Barcelona’s training session at the Ciutat
Esportiva Joan Gamper ahead of their UEFA Champions League game with
Celtic in Glasgow.
He will be performing at Palau Sant
Jordi, a 17,000-capacity multipurpose arena in Barcelona, Spain on
Tuesday, November 22 as part of his Purpose World Tour final leg.
The singer not only got to watch the
Barça players train but even got to join in with a kick around with the
likes of Neymar Jr. and Rafinha.
Bieber also stopped by the club in 2011 when he got to chat with Lionel Messi, Andres Iniesta and Thiago Alcantara who now plays for German club, Bayern Munich.
The 22-year-old was coming off winning
four awards; Video of the Year for ‘Sorry’, Favourite Pop/Rock Male
Artiste, Favourite Pop/Rock Song for ‘Love Yourself’ and Favourite
Pop/Rock Album for Purpose, at the 2016 American Music Awards that held last night at Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, California.
